Important Processing Update

The Office of the University Registrar is currently experiencing unexpected delays in processing official transcripts and enrollment verifications. We are working diligently to manage all requests, but please expect requests to take 2-3 weeks for processing during this time. Requests for transcripts showing earned credentials for Fall 2025 will be processed as soon as possible following degree conferral, but may take several weeks due to the holiday break. Please do not submit duplicate transcript requests to the National Student Clearinghouse.

Official Transcripts

The UAMS Office of the University Registrar issues official transcripts for current and former students through a service of the National Student Clearinghouse. Transcripts are generally available hard-copy or electronically, and UAMS charges a $10 transcript fee per official transcript issued. Unofficial transcripts are available free of charge to currently enrolled students through Workday. Transcript requests are generally processed within 3-5 business days.

Transcript Pick-up/Dissemination

Transcripts may be sent to the recipient of your choice. Transcripts designated for in-person pick up can be picked up (photo ID is required) at the Office of the University Registrar on the UAMS main campus, located in the CHP complex, building 2, room 100. If a third party is designated to pick up transcripts, the third party must be designated in the “special instructions” section of the transcript request form, and a photo ID is required to verify.

Transcripts requested for in-person pick up must be collected from the Office of the University Registrar within 14 days. Documents left unclaimed after that time will be destroyed. Transcript fees are not refunded for unclaimed transcripts.

Pre-order Transcripts

You may pre-order your graduation transcript approximately 30 days before your degree conferral date. If your degree(s) has not yet posted to your academic record and you would like your transcript to include your degree(s), you must indicate this when ordering your transcript(s) through the National Student Clearinghouse.

When ordering online, select “After Degree is Awarded” as the Processing Option in the Delivery Options section of the online order form.

To view the UAMS degree conferral dates, refer to the current UAMS Academic Calendar. Active students may also verify the posting of their degree(s) by viewing their unofficial transcript or viewing credentials in the Academics section in Workday.
