The UAMS Office of the University Registrar issues official transcripts for current and former students through a service of the National Student Clearinghouse. Transcripts are generally available hard-copy or electronically, and UAMS charges a $10 transcript fee per official transcript issued. Unofficial transcripts are available free of charge to currently enrolled students through GUS. Transcript requests are generally processed within 3-5 business days.

Transcripts may be sent to the recipient of your choice. Transcripts designated for in-person pick up can be picked up (photo ID is required) at the Office of the University Registrar on the UAMS main campus, located in the CHP complex, building 2, room 100. If a third party is designated to pick up transcripts, the third party must be designated in the “special instructions” section of the transcript request form, and a photo ID is required to verify. Walk-in transcript requests received before 12 noon will be ready for in-person pick up in the Office of the University Registrar after 4pm the same day; requests received after 12 noon will be ready for in-person pick up at 8am the following business day.
Unofficial transcripts are available to currently enrolled students through GUS under the “My Academics” section of your GUS homepage. General GUS information is available in the GUS General Student Instructions Guide. Unofficial transcripts are not available for students not currently active and enrolled.
PREVIOUS TRANSCRIPT REQUEST PROCESS
If you recently submitted a transcript request using our previous transcript request process, you are not required to submit a new request at this time. If you have not yet processed payment with the Bursar’s Office and prefer to use the new transcript request process, you may do so using the link above. Outstanding transcript requests for which payment has not been received will be canceled as of December 14, 2018. New transcript requests must be submitted using the new process outlined above.
